- ■Kicking things off
-
Greetings, pilots! This is your Dev. director, Nakagawa.
It’s already past the middle of December, and there’s only a little left of this year.
By the way, the Global “Gundam” Poll 2025 is currently underway, have you all voted for your favorite mobile suit yet?
While we look forward to the results being announced, let me introduce the details of the final update of the year. - ■New MS “Crossbone Gundam X-3”!

-
About four months have passed since the 7th-anniversary releases of the X-1 Kai and X-2 Kai, and now, at last, the Crossbone Gundam X-3 is joining GBO2.
This MS is a cost 750 Raid unit that excels in close-quarters combat by making full use of its melee weapon, the “Muramasa Blaster”.
With the new skill Heavy Attack Kai, you can now charge and use heavy attacks even while airborne.
Combined with the Flap Booster, try using it for aerial ambushes and follow-up attacks. - <Unit features>
- ・Raid unit with cost of 750.
- ・The third unit of the Crossbone Gundam series, supplied to the Crossbone Vanguard space pirates by Buch Concern.
- ・The Crossbone Gundam is an experimental prototype unit based on the F9 series concept, equipped with four large movable thrusters on its back, allowing it to freely alter its mobility vectors to cope with the Jupiter Sphere’s high gravity.
- ・Although there is no difference in performance compared to the X1 or X2, features like an additional Gatling Cannon positioned inside its thickened chest armor emphasize close-combat capabilities.
-
・For defensive purposes, it is equipped with I-Field generators that are highly effective against battleship-class beam attacks.
For offensive purposes it wields the Muramasa Blaster, which not only fires beams but also generates 14 beam sabers along its sword-like edge for powerful melee combat, making it exceptional in both offense and defense.
However, despite its remarkable effectiveness, there are risks associated with its limited operation time, making it a highly difficult unit to operate. - ・Can be deployed both on the Ground and in Space.

-
- <Skills>
- Skill “Max Output (T)”
- ・When dealing damage to an enemy MS with a melee weapon, the Skill Gauge increases.
Pressing the touchpad button when the skill gauge is full activates the skill, granting the following effects for a set duration - ・Fully recovers HP for all parts (head, back, legs)
- ・Increases unit attack power, mobility
- ・Damage taken from melee attacks is reduced
- ・The upper limit of high-speed movement speed increases, thruster consumption when initiating high-speed movement and during high-speed movement is reduced
- ・Performance for weapons compatible with the skill is altered
- This skill can be used again after some time has passed.
-
-
- Skill “Heavy Attack Kai”
- ・When selecting a weapon that supports this skill, hold and release the attack button to perform a melee attack with added power.
- ・Increases the attack power and close combat accuracy
- ・Negates enemy MS’s “Special Cushioning” skill
- ・Even when hitting an enemy MS’s shield weaponry, deals damage to the MS itself
- ・During Heavy Attack, reduces damage taken when attacked, damage reaction, and stagger caused by accumulated damage
- ・Also, Heavy Attack can be used while in midair.
-
- Sub-weapon “X-3 I-Field Generator”
- ・Temporarily generates an arm I-Field, which reduces HP damage from beam attacks and reduces or nullifies reactions.
Reactions from cumulative beam attacks are reduced as well. - ・If this weapon is selected while its arm I-Field is activated, and ranged beam attacks are taken from the front, cumulative damage reactions from those attacks are nullified.
- ・Also compatible with the Max Output (T) skill, extending the weapon’s effect time during max output.
- ・However, changing to melee and exiting during a tackle will cause the I-Field to vanish, resulting in overheating.
- ■<VR operator> Token pack with operator “Tobia” is going to be on sale!
-
We are offering the “Token Pack with <VR operator> Tobia”, which lets Tobia Arronax,
the pilot of the Crossbone Gundam X-3 join you as a VR Operator!
Be sure to take this opportunity to pick it up. - ■VR operator
- ・Tobia Arronax (CV: Kappei Yamaguchi)
-
- ■Voice sample
-
- ※Only Japanese operator voice is available.
- ■GBO Winter Festival 2025 is now underway!
-
-
The currently underway “GBO Winter Festival 2025” is now at its midpoint.
In the limited-time missions, you can obtain the “GM Spartan [BD Squad] LV3 and LV4”, along with rewards such as patterns.
Set your sights on these rewards and be sure to head out on missions! - For more details, please check here.
- ■Battle Simulator missions update!
- ■TRIAL “Threat from Jupiter”

-
In TRIAL, you can always try those MS you don’t have.
This time, we get the “Crossbone Gundam X-3” for you to have a test on its performance and the battle will unfold against MS related to Jupiter from Universal Century works. -
Together with your allied units, the Crossbone Gundam X-1 Kai and Vigna Ghina, you’ll battle units created by the man who returned from Jupiter.
In the final phase, the Crossbone Gundam X-2 Kai Kai, enhanced by the Jupiter Empire, awaits you.
Experience the power of this new Crossbone unit as it unleashes its formidable arsenal. - ■SURVIVAL “Hour of Turmoil”

-
SURVIVAL is a mission where you take down waves of enemy MSs attacking you without pause.
In this SURVIVAL mission, you’ll be fighting against the Federation’s proud line of mainstay mass-production units—the Jegan series.
In the latter half of the mission, in addition to the Jegan types, “Gustav Karl” and “Penelope” will also appear!
Fight your way through the powerful Federation forces together with your allied units, “Messer Type-F01” and “Messer Type-F02”! - ■BOSS “Fierce Battle, Solomon Sector”

-
As the name suggests, BOSS is a mission aimed at destroying bosses (giant MS, MA, etc.).
This time, it will be a series of battles between “Big Zam” and “Elmeth” from “Mobile Suit Gundam”. -
The Big Zam that appears in the first half may not have any escorts, but it is still a formidable foe boasting high durability that nullifies beam-type attacks.
After defeating the Big Zam, you’ll immediately be thrust into consecutive battles against mobile suits associated with Solomon, giving you little time to catch your breath.
In the final phase, Elmeth appears accompanied by escort mobile suits, making this a mission that demands different tactics for each phase. - ■To wrap things up…
- This update will be applied at [PST] 12/17/2025 21:00 / [CET] 12/18/2025 06:00.
-
On a different note, we have an update regarding the “Parameter Adjustment Results Report” that is announced alongside each update file.
Thanks to the “Monumental Unit Adjustment” and “respawn time reduction” implemented in November, pilots are now deploying with a wider variety of units.
While we’re very pleased to see this, the combat data for each individual unit has become more spread out, resulting in the need for a longer-than-usual data collection period. -
Therefore, the December “Parameter Adjustment Results Report” will be skipped in order to dedicate time to data collection, and the results will be reported around the end of January 2026.
We apologize for any inconvenience and appreciate your understanding. - Regarding the monthly unit adjustment, this is also scheduled to be carried out around the end of December, so please look forward to them.
-
That concludes this edition of the development report.
As temperatures continue to drop, we ask all pilots to take care of your body. - With that, we’ll see you on the battlefield!
